I've been working on the frog drawing more. I added a decorative white leaf pattern to the background, and I'm starting to go over it with color. This one should be done soon!

I have REALLY enjoyed looking at your artwork. It has inspired me to keep moving forward with mine. I have a couple of questions for you- 1. would you mind if I put a link to your blog on my blog? 2. I've used oil paint forever- which I think is actually causing me to spend more time on every painting, which results in a higher price of my artwork. I've been trying to paint faster without losing quality, and I think using acrylics might accomplish some of that, but I've never worked well with acrylic.. mostly because I haven't developed a process that works well for me. When I get my pallette ready for painting, I put all the colors that I typically use on it, whether I think I might use them this time or not- that way all of my colors are at easy access, but when I'm using acrylics, I get frustrated at how fast my paint dries up on my pallette. Do you have any advice for me? Sorry to leave such a long comment on your blog- You can answer me at my email address: windylampson@gmail.com. Thank you!
